On our job posts we allow each job poster to specify how the candidate applies for the job in the "How to Apply" section. For example, you may have specified:
"Please send your resume to jane@acme.com"
In this case, candidates will apply by contacting you directly and you will not see a list of candidates on the Built In platform because we do not handle the actual application process on our platform.
Built In tracks how many candidates click the "apply" button, but we do not track how many people actually finish the process of applying because they email you directly.
You may see a discrepancy between the number of people who click apply and actually apply because not all candidates finish the process of applying.
If you use an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and indicated that candidates should apply using a link to one of your job posts, you will see the candidates in your ATS. We always recommend you add source tracking if you send candidates to a link on your career site or ATS so you can see where the candidates came from.
